Whenua Māori Fund, A reawakening of life for Matekuare Whānau and Tāwhitiwhiti of Ngāti Whare
This project has been funded by the Whenua Māori Fund and is broken down into three commercialisation exercises, based on the development of the Māra, local sales and export of microgreens, and commercialisation of āwheto.
It will lead to new business for the whānau that will deliver the following:
- Employment for whānau,
- Potential to build cultural capacity,
- Identify whānau skills and providing training opportunities,
- Integrating and supporting whānau-based enterprise development.
